Performance Tire & Wheel opened its doors on February 17, 1994 by Terry & Brenda Powell, in an old gas station building. They had two sons, Trent 9 & Brandon 8, at the time. Terry and Brenda along with several loyal employees ran the business for several years offering the finest products and services available and relying on lots of faithful customers. Performance Tire & Wheel has always focused on customer service and satisfaction.

In September 1998 the 1st phase of building the new facilities began; this was to be the new office and the Alignment center. It was completed and we move in the following February. In September 2004 it was hit with a devastating hurricane (Ivan) that leveled the old, original building that was the main shop. But the family, with a lot of help from friends and customers in Brewton, rebuilt and came back bigger and better than ever.

In August 2004 the oldest son, Trent, graduated from NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC and went on to Mercedes-Benz for ELITE Training, graduating from there on March 18, 2005. His two year tenure led to STAR Certification with them. He is now employed with Performance Tire & Wheel. Three years later, the youngest son, Brandon, attended and Graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute with a Certification in YamaPro for Motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, Wave Runners, Snowmobiles and Generators and is now working in the family business as well. They are continuing the great family traditions started by their father, Terry, when he opened the business with the great expectation of a family-owned and operated hometown Tire and Service Center.

Terry, Brenda and their sons strive to continually give the best customer service in the area. We understand that a high quality product with low prices is a great tool for customer satisfaction. But it's our great customer service and treating customers like family that keeps the people in Brewton and the surrounding areas coming back, time after time.
